SHINE Employment Support

SHINE is for adults in the East Riding area who may be feeling stuck and have neurodivergent needs. If you’re looking to get back into work or training, we’re here to help!

With our SHINE support, we offer personalised one-on-one support to help you overcome the challenges of finding a job. Our programme includes tailored guidance to identify and address barriers in your job search, along with skill-building activities designed to enhance your health, confidence, and employability. While most participants engage with us for around 3-6 months, we can extend support as needed to ensure you have the time to thrive.

To be eligible for SHINE, you should:

• Be 18 years or older
• Live in the East Riding area
• Have a neurodivergent need (you don’t need a formal diagnosis)
• Not be involved in another council-funded employment project
• Be unemployed
