Adult Counsellor / Therapist

Currently we are interested to hear from self-employed, qualified, registered therapists to deliver National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) approved therapies. You must hold a qualification to deliver a NICE approved therapy, such as:

  • Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (CfD)
  • Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Couple therapy for depression (CTfD)
  • Interpersonal therapy (IPT)

Successful applicants must be willing to work with adults across the Hull area and commit to a minimum of 8 to 12 client sessions per week between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday. Delivering face-to-face and occasional online therapy sessions. You should also be willing to take part in regular case management with the relevant team lead, attend online, internal and external training courses as when necessary.

Counsellor (CYP)

Currently we are interested to hear from self-employed, qualified, registered counsellors to deliver therapeutic counselling to children and young people across the East Riding and Hull areas.

You must have completed a minimum level 4 diploma in counselling and your application must depict:

  1. Title of qualification and awarding body
  2. When and where completed training
  3. Number of current client hours delivered
  4. Significant experience of working with children and young people
  5. Whether registered, accredited or working towards accreditation with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) or other counselling regulatory body and relevant registration number
  6. If enrolled with the update disclosure and barring service (DBS)
  7. If in possession of a full current driving license with use of a motor vehicle for work purposes and prepared to travel across the region

Successful applicants must be willing to work with children and young people across the East Riding and Hull areas and commit to a minimum of 8 to 12 client sessions per week between 09:00 and 18:00 hours Monday to Friday. Delivering face-to-face and occasional online therapy sessions.

The focus of these roles are to provide face-to-face and telephone support to both individuals and professionals.

You should have the ability to respond quickly to different situations, be confident, compassionate and have a good level of resilience. You will need to be able to commit to work at least one shift per month and have a genuine willingness to undertake, and engage in, appropriate training.

Various shifts are offered for these roles, but we are particularly interested in hearing from night workers.

These roles are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.

North East Lincolnshire Mind work in partnership with NAViGO to offer an out of hours service as an alternative to acute mental health services.  The aim of the Safe Space is to ensure more people get the help they need during difficult times.

We are looking for bank recovery workers to join the Safe Space team. You should have recent experience of supporting vulnerable people with health and social care needs. Applicants must also be confident, non-judgmental and empathetic with excellent listening and communication skills.

The Safe Space runs from 5.00pm to midnight 7 days per week.

Wellington Care is Hull and East Yorkshire Mind’s wholly owned trading subsidiary, offering tailored care and support to individuals with complex needs.

We are seeking a HR professional to join our newly established People team to support the implementation of Wellington Care’s People Strategy and play a crucial role in ensuring effective HR operations.

Working with the Group People team, the postholder will provide Wellington Care with a personnel service.  They will support the co-ordination and implementation of all personnel policies and practices, which comply to current legislation and respond to the diversity of service delivery.

This is a development role for an individual wanting to advance their career in human resources with support to achieve a Level 5 CIPD People Professional qualification.
