Last week Hull and East Yorkshire Mind welcomed Mike to the administration team.
Mike joined as part of the apprenticeship programme via MacArthur Dean Training – He will be with Hull and East Yorkshire Mind for the next 12 months assisting the team with a variety of different tasks.
On reflection of his first week Mike said “Like any first day at a new work place, you expect it to be difficult, getting on with work, meeting people, knowing what you have to do; but Hull and East Yorkshire Mind was the complete opposite.
Of course at first it’s tricky, learning to talk to people and who they are, but they all made me feel so welcome that I didn’t feel any pressure on myself at all. Each day it grows on me and I get more involved every day. So far it has been a wonderful experience!”
We are sure that Mike will make a huge contribution to the team!
