Welcome Hull Shoot It 2016. This is the inaugural running of the Hull Shoot It film challenge, the idea being to invite anyone interested in filmmaking to show us what they can do in preparation for next year’s City of Culture Celebrations.

Hull Shoot It 2016 is the brainchild of the Hull and Humber Filmmakers Forum, and is being held in conjunction with our Charitable Partners Hull and East Yorkshire MIND.

The Hull Shoot it Challenge is two separate Competitions. The main competition is a 48 hour film challenge in which teams will need to write shoot edit and submit a short film in response to a competition brief.

In addition to this there is going to be a Hull Shoot it Student Film Challenge. This will be held over 5 days and will enable schools and colleges to have a longer time to fulfil the brief.
