Last month, local video marketing company Squideo held a fun packed games night to raise money for Hull and East Yorkshire Mind.
A spokesperson for Squideo said “The team here at Squideo wanted to support local charity Hull & East Yorkshire Mind and celebrate the awesome work they do in a fun and engaging way. Hull and East Yorkshire Mind is an incredible organisation, dedicated to supporting people with mental health problems, their families and carers.
We have all been touched by mental health issues in one way or another, whether that be through our own experiences or those of our friends, our families or colleagues. By opening up about mental health and raising awareness of it, we are all contributing to the destruction of the stigma.
As a team of young professionals ourselves, we wanted to raise money for a cause that not only affects other people our age, but an issue that people our age are often afraid to open up about.
So, we opened up our office and hosted an epic gaming night. From board games to Mario Kart Wii, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, we have managed to raise almost £400 in just one night. Here’s a look at what we got up to!
