Hull and East Yorkshire Mind, a leading mental health charity in the region, has announced a new partnership with Coletta and Tyson, a local garden centre based in Woodmansey, Beverley. It aims to promote mental health and well-being by offering a range of activities that encourage people to connect with nature.
The partnership will officially launch on 15th May 2023, coinciding with the start of Mental Health Awareness Week, a national awareness week that brings together millions of people from all kinds of backgrounds to focus on good mental health for all.
As part of the partnership, Hull and East Yorkshire Mind will be promoting mental health awareness to staff and customers at Coletta and Tyson, as well as providing guidance on how to further support mental health within the community. The partnership will also involve the creation of a dedicated space at Coletta and Tyson to promote a range of resources to improve mental health. In addition, the garden centre will be supporting the charity’s fundraising efforts by hosting events and activities throughout the year, with donations coming to Hull and East Yorkshire Mind.
