Get involved during May and help to promote positive mental health
Hull and East Yorkshire Mind are happy to be working alongside East Riding of Yorkshire Council on the brand new #PauseER campaign – an initiative for local people.
The concept is simple. Throughout May, we are encouraging people to consciously take a break from social media, their phones and other devices for 2 hours per day. This is to help local people reconnect with life and re-learn how to relax, switch off and socialise with one another – without having any distractions or living life through a screen. The campaign also aims to share real stories from real people about their experiences having a break from social media.
If you feel that you spend a lot of time on social media, potentially feeling tired, low mood and generally a bit fed up – why not give it ago and see how you feel after.
