We are thrilled to announce that we have recently won an Award at the Hull and East Yorkshire People in Business Awards 2023!
At the event we were delighted that our Peer Support Team received the award for Team Impact. As part of this support service, our team of dedicated Peer Support Workers use their own mental health experiences to support others living in Hull and East Yorkshire.
As shown on the People in Business Awards website, this accolade is awarded to a determined team which consistently produces great work and delivers measurable results.
Following the win, Service Manager Jenny Peterson said:
“As a team we are very proud of the service that we provide because peer support has such an impact on those that receive it.
Many people are able to see their full potential and make meaningful progress in their mental health recovery, with their peer support worker travelling together alongside them. Receiving this award has demonstrated that others can see the value of what we do and it means a lot to us to be recognised for this.”
The People in Business Awards (PIBA) was founded in 2019. The scheme was established to drive the recognition of talent and skills in the Hull and Humber region.
