The Hull Daily Mail’s Health and Care Awards made a brilliant return to the Willerby Manor Hotel on Thursday October 18, and celebrated all the best things about the healthcare industry.
We are delighted to announce that our ‘You Matter’ Men’s Suicide Prevention Service won the Mental Health and Wellbeing Award.
Dan Francis, who founded the You Matter service for Mind, said: “I am in shock. Winning this award is unbelieveable. I just want to say a big thank you to everyone in this room. Suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 45. It is the fact we all share and we all share a story. This service is amazing and I want to say a big thank you to these people, as I wouldn’t be here today without them”
