Hull and East Yorkshire Mind are looking for volunteers aged 13-18 to share their views and experiences to help shape the way in which we deliver and plan our services.

We want young people to work as partners with HEYMind, and have a voice to influence the way mental health support is provided to children and young people within Hull and East Yorkshire.

This is an open opportunity for any young people aged 13-18.

We are looking to recruit young people who have experienced mental health services, alongside young people who have not experienced services, to gain a wider scope of views.

There will be 2 main ways in which you can get involved. We will be running voluntary groups every 4-6 weeks, and we will be sending out email surveys to young people on our mailing list to complete.

Young people who get involved will gain voluntary experiences which can be used on a CV, or University application. You will also be supported to log volunteer hours to get certificates for the voluntary hours completed.

The first group of young people will be meeting on Wednesday 16th August at 13:00, at HEYMind offices.

Alternatively you can sign up to the survey emails to provide feedback through sending a blank email with the subject ‘participation’ to [email protected]

The first survey can be found and completed at: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CP5R67C

If you are interested in attending the group, receiving emails or you would like more information please contact Lisa Wray on 01482 240200, or alternatively you can text me on 07398147458. Or email [email protected]
