Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, gain practical experience for studies and employment and to give something back to the community.

Volunteers are involved in a variety of roles throughout the whole organisation. We rely on our volunteers to help us deliver our services supporting people recovering from mental ill health.

Volunteers are a valued part of our team and we work hard to ensure that our volunteers have a rewarding experience. As a volunteer, you will receive a full induction, training and ongoing support as required.

Some of our current volunteers said the following

“My volunteering has been varied, stimulating and interesting but, perhaps most importantly, it has also rewarded me with that sense of purpose and worth which is essential to our wellbeing.” Stuart

“You get your own responsibility and workload, yet at the same time get that full time back-up network.” Mark
